COLD OCEAN SWIMS
I can’t believe I am still swimming after committing to take a dip once a day in October! Although now the frequency has dimished, I am still going and have been twice already in January! I have heard it has amazing benefits like boosting your immune system, giving you a natural high, and improving your circulation, but the real benefit is having found a group of others who like to do the same! BIRTHING MACRAME SEA CREATURES
Keeping busy during the holidays was easy. I wanted to find a way to just relax, do some yoga, maybe meditate and find my "inner voice" but I didnt, or at least I didn't think I did. My hands wanted to move! And when the first snowstorm hit, I went to making. Using rope to tie and loop and re-loop again and tie and loop.... what happened during this making process.....of course, a relaxed, almost meditative state creeps in on me and I find calm.
